Khloe Kardashian opened up about calling off her divorce from Lamar Odom and the rumors that have been running wild since Odom’s tragic drug overdose that left him fighting for his life earlier this month.
Khloe Kardashian & Lamar Odom Not Back Together, Still Dating James Harden
Khloe Kardashian tells People Magazine that while she and Lamar Odom did call off their divorce they are not back together in a romantic sense. In fact, she confirms that she is still dating NBA star James Harden even though rumor were swirling that she had dumped him to focus strictly on Lamar.
“[James] has been great with me and I’m just allowing everything to unfold. If it’s ever too overwhelming, [for him] then I understand that as well.”
As for pulling the plug on her divorce to Lamar Odom, Khloe Kardashian claims there were many reasons for that, but mostly because she can help with medical decisions and other things of that nature.
“I pulled back on the divorce because there is no rush for it. For medical decisions and a ton of other things, it’s just smarter that it’s put on hold. But that doesn’t mean I’m back with Lamar. It’s not even in our brains to think about us having a relationship.”
Khloe Says She’ll Always Love Lamar
While Lamar had a long and hard road to recovery in front of him, Khloe says she will always love him and no matter what happens between them in the future she wants to be the one supporting him through this difficult time in his life.
“I love him always, and I will always love him. I don’t believe love is fickle. I believe when you love someone, you are allowed to love from afar. You don’t have to be with that person in order to love him.”
We think it’s great that Khloe Kardashian is standing by Lamar Odom when he needs her the most, and that the pair will at the very least continue to be friends throughout their lives. However, there is a part of us that hopes Lamar can fully recover from his health crisis, get the help he needs for his addiction issues, and that he and Khloe may live happily ever after.
