Khloe Kardashian has made no secret that she shares a very special bond with her only brother, Rob Kardashian. The duo have seemingly always been close. However, these days Rob stays out of the spotlight almost entirely. He very rarely makes an appearance on the family’s reality show, and isn’t even seen on social media all that often. So, Khloe is taking matters into her own hands. She’s ready to push Rob back into the world, and she had a plan to do so.
According to an insider, Khloe Kardashian wants nothing more than to get Rob Kardashian out of his shell. He’s been living a hermit lifestyle for several years. Now, she thinks it’s time that he puts all of that behind him and focus on a new and bright future, per In Touch Weekly.
“Khloe is completely ride or die with Rob, she always has been, and she’s still convinced she can help get him back to the outgoing, confident guy he used to be,” the insider says. “It kills her that his spirit has been so broken down by life and she feels like it’s her duty to do everything in her power to help him fix that,” said the source.
Rob’s reclusive ways started after he became a fan favorite on “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.” His good looks and sweet personality won over viewers. However, when he fell into a depression, gained weight, and began getting bullied online, he opted to step out of the spotlight altogether. While the Kardashian-Jenner girls have been protective of their brother, Khloe’s reportedly insisting it’s time for a change.
Khloe Kardashian Wants Brother Rob Back In The Spotlight
“People have accused her of having a savior complex when it comes to Rob, but she doesn’t see it that way at all,” the source continued. “You have to remember these two were so close all their lives, like twins almost, so the bond is very, very strong. She can’t just shrug her shoulders and forget about him while he lives like a hermit.”
Khloe’s plan reportedly includes having Rob live in her house. The only Kardashian brother allegedly has a wing in Khloe’s mansion where he and his daughter, Dream, live. The two single parents raise their children side-by-side more like siblings than cousins. However, that gives Khloe the opportunity to put a bug in Rob’s ear about returning to the public eye.
“She’s starting with baby steps, having him call into the podcast was a great start, but she would love to have him come on for a longer interview and ultimately into the studio for a whole sit down.”
While many fans would likely love to see Rob Kardashian return to fame, others think it may be a bad idea for Khloe Kardashian to push the issue.
“She’s playing with fire. Rob obviously doesn’t want the type of fame his sisters have. Let it be,” one person commented on the article.
It remains to be seen if Rob Kardashian will ever decide to return to his celebrity roots. However, it he does, Khloe Kardashian will seemingly be there to guide him along the way.
