Kim Kardashian is taking her casting in Season 12 of “American Horror Story” seriously. The reality star may be known for her family’s TV series as well as her other business ventures such as her shapewear company, Skims. However, Kardashian has now landed a role in the horror series and she’s reportedly looking to knock it out of the park by taking acting lessons in preparation.
During an interview with Variety, Kardashian revealed that she’s gearing up to film her scenes for the anthology show. “We start shooting my stuff at the end of this month. But production has already started and I’m so excited… It’s really fun to step outside of your comfort zone and try something new and grow. I’m so excited for the experience,” Kardashian revealed. “It’s a challenge. I like to challenge myself,” she added of her upcoming TV gig.

It’s clear that Kim Kardashian is taking her role seriously, and if all goes well it could be a huge step into an acting career for the reality TV star. “American Horror Story” fans may remember when Lady Gaga was cast in “Hotel” and fans couldn’t get enough. Gaga later went on to land roles in blockbusters such as “A Star Is Born” and “House of Gucci.” Although Kardashian’s AHS role may not lead to Oscar-nominated roles, it may land her other acting gigs in other shows or in future seasons of AHS.
American Horror Story Season 12 has been titled “Delicate.” Kardashian will star alongside “AHS” fan-favorite Emma Roberts, as well as Cara Delevigne, Matt Czuchry, MJ Rodriguez, Annabelle Dexter-Jones, and Odessa A’zion. The season is said to be inspired by the novel “Delicate Condition” by author Danielle Valentine. It’s described as a scary story similar to Rosemary’s Baby.
AHS Season 12 will debut later this year
Fans were divided about Kim Kardashian’s American Horror Story Season 12 casting. However, other stars have also been involved in small roles on the show in the past, like when Jenna Dewan and Adam Levin made a quick cameo in Season 2: Asylum. The new season of AHS is set to debut later this year, and fans will likely be ready to critique Kardashian’s performance when the episodes begin to air.
Only time will tell how Kim Kardashian fairs in the horror genre. However, her loyal fans are rooting for her to hit it big and impress with her performance on the show.
