The couple were joined by their close friends and family members to celebrate the upcoming birth of their baby boy. During the show, Kourtney and Travis’ baby name was allegedly leaked. However, there was another thing that had fans shaking their heads. Barker attended the shower even though he had just been diagnosed with COVID.
It was clear that Travis and Kourtney distanced themselves from one another at the baby shower. The musician even wore a mask in hopes of keeping everyone safe around him. However, fans weren’t happy with the decision to hold the shower and have Barker present while he was sick with COVID. The main reason being Kardashian’s recent pregnancy scare, where she was forced to have fetal surgery to save the life of her unborn child.

After photos and videos of Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s Disney-inspired baby shower hit the internet, fans began to share their opinions. Some absolutely loved seeing the couple celebrating their unborn son. Others gushed over the cute theme of the shower. However, many were put off by the fact that Travis attended the event while sick. Especially since Kourtney just recently had surgery to save their baby.
“Wow. having a party while sick with covid when cases are surging higher than 2020,” one person said via Reddit. “Wild that they’d have a shower given he has COVID and she just had a medical scare. Your health and the baby’s health are more important than a party,” another wrote. “I understand him wanting to be there for the shower. However, it does seem a bit irresponsible to attend with Covid. Especially after Kourtney just had surgery and is likely high risk as it is,” another comment read.
Of course, Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian are going to do whatever they think is best for themselves, their baby, and their family. However, public figures are always subject to scrutiny. Especially when they share their lives so publicly with their fans.
