Kourtney Kardashian and Tristan Thompson aren’t exactly close. Although other members of the Kardashian family, such as Kim, have become close to Khloe Kardashian’s baby daddy, Kourt isn’t sold.
Kourtney Kardashian says she’s triggered by Tristan Thompson
During a recent episode of “The Kardashians” on Hulu, Kourtney Kardashian opened up about her feelings on Tristan Thompson. Kourt admitted that she gets triggered by Tristan’s presence after everything he’s put Khloe through over the years. In addition, that feeling has rubbed off on Kourtney’s daughter, Penelope, as well.
“I feel like she gets it from me,” Kourtney explained. “I told her the first day of school, I was so triggered by him, I know why, but I feel like we all brush it off and are fine, and then I was just so triggered and I was like, ‘I just can’t do it anymore.'”
Later in her confessional interview, Kourtney went into detail about why she’s triggered by Tristan. “Tristan has made horrible decisions and choices with my sister. There’s times when I’m so triggered by him I can’t be around him and then there’s times when I just let it go because we just want harmony and, you know, he’s the father of my niece and nephew.”
Khloe Kardashian is fine with Kourtney’s thoughts on Tristan
Meanwhile, Khloe Kardashian doesn’t mind that Kourtney Kardashian and Penelope Disick have certain feelings towards Tristan Thompson. Khloe knows that Tristan has done her wrong many times in the past. However, she says she’s very proud of the way that she and her ex have come together to co-parent their two children, True and Tatum.
“Where I am at with Tristan has nothing to do with what I expect my family members to do. If Penelope has feelings about Tristan, rightfully so. And good for you, girl,” Khloe stated.
Khloe went on to reveal that she was fine with Penelope forming her own opinions of Tristan. She also added that she wants Penelope to know that it’s okay for her to feel that way and that nobody should accept a partner treating them he way that Tristan has treated Khloe in the past.
Kim Kardashian has praised Tristan
Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian has had opposite feelings about Tristan Thompson. Kim has praised Tristan for changing and being a great father to his kids. She’s also admitted that Tristan has helped her with her own children during her divorce from Kanye West.
It looks like Tristan Thompson is just another topic that Kim and Kourtney Kardashian aren’t going to agree on.
