Larry King was reported last Thursday to have suffered a heart attack, however, new reports reveal that King thankfully only suffered an angina attack according to TMZ. King’s publicist has revealed that the talk show host suffered a severe angina attack following last weeks angioplasty and that there seems to have been a misunderstanding throughout the lines of communication.
The site reports that their sources told them very clearly that Larry King’s doctors told his wife Shawn that Larry DID suffer a mild heart attack, Test results revealed that there were proteins found in King’s blood that are a clear sign of a heart attack.
The celebrity news site also added that their sources claim that for months before Larry’s angiogram procedure he had been having difficulty breathing. They also reveal that King was taken by ambulance to the hospital on the same day he was to check in for his procedure.

King’s team of doctors reportedly opened up an artery that had collapsed and inserted several stents. Despite the confusion and conflicting health updates on Larry King, 85, he is recovering and expected to return home on Monday.
This is not the first heart- related issues Larry King has experienced during his lifetime. He has suffered 2 heart attacks over the past three decades. This has been a tough past couple of months for celebrity heart problems. As previously reported, both Luke Perry and John Singleton have died following massive strokes in 2019.
