LeBron James roasts Charles Barkley over recent comments about Cleveland Cavaliers
LeBron James has finally reached his breaking point with Charles Barkley. The Cleveland Cavaliers baller decided to speak out on Barkley’s recent comments about him, and he left nothing unsaid about the former NBA all-star turned analyst.
According to Fox News, LeBron James was asked about Charles Barkley saying that the Cavs forward saying he needed “help” was “inappropriate. Whiny. All of the above. The Cleveland Cavaliers, they have given him everything he wanted.” Well, James is tired of Barkley throwing shade at him and his team.
“He’s a hater … What makes what he says credible? Because he’s on TV? I’m not going to let him disrespect my legacy like that,” James told ESPN. “I’m not the one who threw somebody through a window. I never spit on a kid. I never had unpaid debt in Las Vegas. I never said, ‘I’m not a role model.’ I never showed up to All-Star Weekend on Sunday because I was in Vegas all weekend partying. All I’ve done for my entire career is represent the NBA the right way. Fourteen years, never got in trouble. Respected the game. Print that.”
LeBron James and Charles Barkley trade insults
LeBron James then issued a statement directed at Charles Barkley, saying that he’ll talk to former NBA player anytime if he has beef with him. “And if this makes him want to talk to me, the schedule’s out there … He knows every road arena I’ll be in. Don’t just come up to me at All-Star and shake my hand and smile. I collect one paycheck from this … There’s the owner, Griff’s [David Griffin] the GM, I’m the player. Screw Charles Barkley. I’m tired of biting my tongue … There’s a new sheriff in town.”

Fans of LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers know that Charles Barkley has often made negative comments about LBJ and the organization. LeBron has obviously had enough of it, and stated the obvious. James has been a great role model for his fans. He’s very active in his community, donates lucratively to charity, and has always conducted himself in a respectable fashion. So, for James to call out a former NBA great is out of character, but not out of line according to fans, who have been waiting for this moment. Meanwhile, Barkley, whom others believe was just doing his job has yet to clap back at James.
