LEGO Star Wars Actively Trying To Reach An Older Audience

Lego Star Wars Toy

Star Wars is one of the most popular franchises in the world and with that, the team with Lego to make the popular Lego Star Wars series. From actual Legos to Lego Star Wars the video game there are hundreds maybe even thousands of Lego Star Wars sets mostly made for children.

Lego has always been primarily aimed at children and will always will be, but lately, it seems that a lot of older teens and young adults have been buying the packs to display as collectible items. Lucasfilm has noticed this and is now moving to make Lego Star Wars sets that are more suitable to be a collectible item than a children’s toy.

In recent years these sets have been very popular and are doing surprisingly well for a company that is known for making toys. “Mike Ilacqua: First and foremost, adults have been an important part of our fanbase for a long time, but it’s really been in the last few years where we’ve definitely seen an opportunity with adults who are hyperconnected and overstimulated with screens. LEGO building just provides them an amazing outlet to be able to disconnect, recharge, regain their balance. You can really achieve that flow with LEGO building,” reports Star Wars.com

Adult Lego fans are in for a treat

It is important for people of all ages and genders to be able to express themselves and not be ashamed of what they do in their spare time and what makes them happy. With this new line of Lego products people now have even more opportunities to do just that. This new line of Lego products gives every fan or even someone who is just interested in Legos a new chance to experience the joy of creating and maybe even some a new sense of joy in the times we live in today.

It will be very interesting to see how Lego will keep this going as they move forward with their plans for these older fans. It is nice to see what Lego and Lucasfilm are doing to help everyone enjoy their products and feel the joyful and relaxing feeling of building.

For now, we will all have to wait and see what the next steps of this process are. But as of right now these two companies are doing a truly amazing thing to help bring the joy of Legos and Star Wars to people of all ages.
