Len Goodman is quitting “Dancing With The Stars.” The head judge of ABC’s reality dancing competition confirmed this week that he will leave after the upcoming season 20.

Len Goodman is leaving ‘Dancing With The Stars’

Len Goodman, who lives in the UK, says that the travel between the two countries do to “Dancing With The Stars” has just become too much for him.

“Next year, I’m not going to do the flying backwards and forward,” adding, “I’m not going to do the American show… I’ve got to have a bit of time off. Dancing With The Stars” has been on the air for 10 years and is in its 20th season, Goodman said, “I think that’s a nice place to stop.”

Maksim Chmerkovskiy to replace Len Goodman on ‘DWTS?’

Len Goodman, 70, has been a judge on “Dancing With The Stars” since it debuted in 2004, and although he’s leaving the series he’ll still judge on the British series “Come Strictly Dancing.”

In season 19 former professional dancer Julianne Hough became the show’s fourth judge, and with Len Goodman leaving it seems there could be room for another new face. Perhaps former fan favorite dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

If Maks and Julianne were both to judge they’d both be judging their brothers, Val Chmerkovskiy and Derek Hough who are dancers on the ABC series.
