The Wolf of Wall Street star Leonardo Di Caprio is caught between a rock and a hard place regarding Sean Diddy Combs‘ recent arrest. It seems that Leo and Diddy go way back and often partied together. However, Leo and Diddy don’t seem to be on the same page regarding their friendship.
Since Diddy’s arrest last week on multiple charges, which include sex trafficking and racketeering, numerous reports and photos have begun resurfacing, revealing Comb’s long list of Hollywood A-List pals who often frequented and allegedly enjoyed the shamed rapper’s parties and alleged ‘freak off’ events. One A-List celeb in particular is Leonardo Di Caprio.
Photos from one of Diddy’s white parties have resurfaced, revealing a young Di Caprio with Sean Diddy Combs on more than one occasion throughout the years. However, according to the Daily Mail‘s sources, someone close to the actor claims that Leo hasn’t had anything to do with Diddy ‘for years.’
The Diddy white party photo from 1998 taken at Comb’s East Hampton home clearly reveals the young actor alongside the rapper and two other friends. Other celebrities who were also in attendance at the same party reportedly included Kim. Kardashian, Paris Hilton, Mariah Carey and Jennifer Lopez. However, it is Leonardo Di Caprio that Combs claims was his favorite and always ‘number one’ among the party guests.
Leonardo Di Caprio Denies Close Friendship With Sean Diddy Combs
Despite Diddy’s alleged fondness of the actor, the Titanic star denies spending as much time with the rapper as stated. The Di Caprio insider says, “Leo has ‘not been in contact’ with Combs for years, saying he never attended ‘freak offs’, and has nothing to do with the case.”
Unfortunately for Leonardo Di Caprio, the proof of their friendship over the years lies in the photos. Per the source, “‘Leonardo DiCaprio has absolutely nothing to do with any of this. He attended a few of his parties back in the early 2000s – but literally everyone did. They were not freak-offs. They were big house parties. Leo was at the start of his career at the time and has moved way past his partying. He has nothing to do with any of that world, so for anyone to assume that he will get roped into this based on a few grainy photos that are more than 20 years old is ridiculous.”

However, Sean Diddy Combs and Leonardo Di Caprio were photographed together as recently as July 29, 2004. The pair was pictured together in public at the Democratic National Convention. The Great Gatsby actor was also seen dancing beside Combs on his 50th birthday in 2019.
“Leo is focused on his career and his relationship and is not at all thinking about Diddy’s federal case, which he has nothing to do with.” But many fans question the actor’s alleged denial. “The photos don’t lie” writes one commenter. Another adds, “Leo loves young women and a good party; he is not fooling anyone.” Meanwhile, a third writes, “It’s not looking good for him.”
Diddy’s arrest case is just getting started, and as time passes, more Hollywood celebrity names will likely be exposed.
