Lifetime’s ‘Flowers In The Attic’ Movie Series To Air 2 Films in April

Lifetime’s “Flowers In The Attic” movie series is set to air the final two films in April. “If There Be Thorns” and “Seeds of Yesterday” will both air on the network next month, wrapping up the “FITA” series that has been highly talked about among fans for the past two years.

Final 2 ‘Flowers In The Attic’ Films to Air on Lifetime in April

Broadway World reports that the first of the final two “Flowers In The Attic” movies, “If There Be Thorns” will air on Easter Sunday, April 5 at 9 p.m. The movie will be about Chris and Cathy Dollenganger, who are now living as husband and wife together and raising Cathy’s two sons, Jory and Bart, as they hide their incestuous relationship from their children.

However, a new neighbor who moves in to the house next door will focus her attention and little Bart, and it’s none other than Corrine Foxworth Dollenganger herself, Christopher and Cathy’s deranged mother, who locked them away in an attic for years when they were children.

More V.C. Andrews Adaptations to Come?

“Seeds of Yesterday” will air the following Sunday, April 12 on Lifetime at 9 p.m. and will focus on Cathy’s children, Jory and Bart, as adults as they live in the shadow of the attic and continue their family’s tradition of deeply troubled relationships. Shocking secrets will come to a head in a way that will haunt the tortured family forever.

V.C. Andrews fans are hoping that with the success and fan interest of the “Flowers In The Attic” movie series that Lifetime will consider adapting more of the author’s novels into movies. The Casteel series, featuring the main character Heaven, would be a great candidate for another series of made for TV films, and delight fans of the heartbreaking saga.
