Lisa Marie Presley and her ex Michael Lockwood’s divorce continues to grow nastier by the day. New court documents claim according to Lockwood Lisa’s drug habit was far more dangerous and disturbing than anyone really knew.
Michael Lockwood claims in 2016, just before checking into rehab Lisa Marie was downing 80 pills a day according to Radar Online. He described Lisa as “paranoid and hallucinatory.” He also claims that not only did Lisa Marie suffer from a major pill addiction she was also abusing cocaine on top of the pills daily.
Lockwood opened up about his “nightmarish” marriage to the only daughter of the late Elvis Presley in a lengthy investigation conducted by the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services. Things were so bad in 2015, Michael alleged that Lisa stayed awake for 11 days in a row. Things began to spiral out of control for Lisa Marie and after authorities began stepping in to investigate Presley checked herself into rehab.
As previously reported during Presley’s stay in rehab, Lisa’s mom Priscilla Presley took control of Lisa and Michael’s twin daughters Harper and Finely keeping them in her custody until Lisa successfully complete rehab.
Not only was Lisa Marie’s drug use under investigation, but there were also allegations of sexual abuse made against Lockwood. The investigation was dropped in 2017 due to lack of evidence.
Today, Lisa Marie Presley’s sobriety continues to be questioned, however, sources close to Lisa reveal that she has been sober for more than two years.
The source, who spoke with Radar stated, Lisa, realized that things were out of control and decided she was heading down a dangerous road. She decided she did not want to end up like her dad and has worked hard at maintaining her sobriety.
Lisa Marie Presley’s legal troubles remain far from over, the singer and her ex continue to battle over the custody of their young twin daughters. Recently, both Lisa and Michael were ordered by the courts to undergo mental health evaluations.
Earlier this week the courts decided that Lisa Marie Presley will continue having primary custody, while Lockwood continues with supervised visitation.
The nasty divorce and custody battle is expected to continue on for several months with both Lisa Marie Presley and Michael Lockwood returning to court in February.
