Lisa Marie Presley Leaning On Daughters During Tough Times

Lisa Marie Presley took to Instagram on Monday sharing a rare selfie taken alongside her three daughters, Riley Keough, 31, Harper, and Finley Lockwood, 12 according to Pop Culture.

The family photo was shared by Lisa Marie on Monday, February 1st,  also happens to be Presley’s 53rd birthday. Lisa Marie appears humbled by her followers and fans writing, “Thank you for all of the overwhelming birthday wishes from everyone. Like every day, I couldn’t have made it through without these three by my side.”

2020 was a tough year for everyone, but Presley family news followers are well aware it has been extra hard on Lisa Marie. In the photo, Presley is seen with her three look-alike daughters during the singer’s 53rd birthday celebration.

Lisa Marie Presley admits needing  her family to help her thru 2020

Lisa acknowledges that she has leaned on her daughters this year to help get her thru some of her darkest days. She captioned the photo, “Couldn’t have made it without these three.”

 Sadly, and noticeably missing from the rare family photo is Presley’s late son Benjamin Storm Keough. It has been just six over six months since Benjamin’s shocking death.

In July, news broke that Lisa Marie’s 27-year-old son Benjamin had died tragically from a self-inflicted gunshot. The incident took place during a birthday party at Presley’s Calabasas home on July 12th.

The news of her only son’s suicide shook Lisa to the core. Lisa’s manager issued a statement stating that Lisa is completely heartbroken and inconsolable.

The statement went on to say that “she adored” her son, and that he “was the love of her life.” Benjamin is Presley’s son with musician and ex-husband Danny Keough.

Not only has Lisa faced the loss of her only son, during that time she was also engaged in a bitter and long custody battle over her twin daughters Harper and Finley.

However, the 53rd birthday photo is the first social media image Lisa Marie has shared since she celebrated the birthday of her late son Benjamin in October of last year. 

Within the caption, Lisa wrote, “My beautiful beautiful angel. I worshipped the ground you walked on, on this earth, and now in Heaven. My heart and soul went with you. The depth of the pain is suffocating and bottomless without you every moment of every day. I will never be the same. Please wait for me my love, and hold my hand while I stay to continue to protect and raise your little sisters and to be here for Riley. I know you would want that. Happy Birthday my sweet sweet Boy. You were much too good for this world,” the post read.

Presley’s late son Ben is buried in the Meditation Garden at Graceland with his family including his grandfather, Elvis Presley, great-grandmother, Gladys Presley, great-grandfather, Vernon Presley, and great-great-grandmother, Minnie Mae Presley.

Meanwhile, fans of Elvis were often astonished by just how strong the Presley family gene is. Benjamin often called Elvis’ look-alike-grandson favored the legendary singer very much.

Graceland is a place of comfort for Lisa and family

As previously reported by Hollywood News Daily, Lisa spent the Christmas holiday at her father’s Graceland mansion. The home that Lisa Marie recalls having so many wonderful memories of her father.

It was always a lot of fun. There is not one bad memory. There was always a lot of energy and life in the house. He was very mischievous, speaking of Elvis.

In a 2018 interview, Lisa Marie Presley opened up about her father stating that she wishes that her father was with her today. Lisa Marie Presley reveals she has battled some incredibly hard times since her father’s death, the addiction, issues between herself and her mom, Priscilla Presley, financial difficulties, and bad marriages.

When asked what if she could say anything to her dad, Elvis today, what would be? Lisa Marie Presley replied only two words…“Help me!”
