The sudden death of Lisa Marie Presley shocked her family, friends, and fans. The only daughter of the late legendary King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley, died on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at 54.
Lisa Marie Presley’s Final Wishes Honored
The family of Lisa Marie Presley continues to grieve the loss of their beloved mom, daughter, wife, and friend. Condolences continue to flood the family’s social media pages from across the globe.
So far, not many details regarding Lisa’s death or funeral arrangements have been released. However, according to the New York Post reports, Lisa’s family will honor her final wishes. A rep for Presley’s oldest daughter, Riley Keough, spoke with the Post on Friday.
Keough’s rep stated that Lisa Marie Presley would be laid to rest at her late father’s Graceland home in Memphis, Tennessee, next to her beloved late son, Benjamin Keough. In 2020 Benjamin Storm Keough died tragically, at the age of 27, from suicide.
He was buried at his grandfather Elvis Presley’s estate. Benjamin’s burial marked the first on-site burial in 40 years since Elvis’ grandmother passed in 1980.
Lisa Marie Never Got Over Losing Her Son
On July 12, 2020, reports revealed that Lisa Marie Presley lost her only son tragically. But Ben was not the only thing the singer lost that day. Those closest to Lisa know the day that Benjamin died, a part of Lisa Marie died with him. She was never the same.

Lisa Marie is the only daughter of Elvis. She was born in 1968 and was a young child when her father tragically died. She followed in her father’s musical footsteps as a singer and songwriter. In the past, her relationships have made headlines. In addition to Keough, she’s been married to actor Nicholas Cage, singer Michael Jackson, and producer Michael Lockwood.
Her father, Elvis Presley, and son Benjamin Keough preceded her death. Lisa Marie Presley is survived by her daughters Riley Keough, Finley, and Harper Lockwood, her mother, Priscilla Presley; half-brother Navarone Garibaldi; and numerous friends, family, and friends who love and adore her.
