Lisa Marie Presley’s divorce case from estranged fourth husband Michael Lockwood is really starting to heat up according to Radar Online reports. Lisa Marie Presley is ready to fight it out and will reportedly take the stand to testify against Michael Lockwood in court in hopes of protecting her twin daughters, Harper and Finely as well as what is left, or what will incur of her famous father Elvis Presley’s fortune.
This has bee Lisa’s nastiest divorce yet. Lisa Marie Presley and Lockwood are scheduled to face off against each other in court on August 13 in hope of finally coming to an agreeable divorce and custody settlement once and for all. Radar reports that both Lisa and Michael will be taking the stand to testify against each other According to court documents Lisa will be testifying on matters related to the “post-nuptial” agreement and is expected to withstand at least 90-minutes of grueling testimony and questioning.
Lockwood is also expected to undergo questioning and testimony pertaining to the post-nuptial and pre-nuptial agreements. His testimony is expected to last around two hours.The divorce trial is expected to become very heated and Lisa is expected to finally have her full say. It is no secret that Lisa Marie Presley and Michael Lockwood’s divorce would go the distance in court.
As previously reported Lockwood claims that Lisa Marie Presley has been hiding assets to avoid paying him the demanded $40,000 per month in spousal support in which he feels he is owed by Presley as a result of their ten-year-marriage. Lisa Marie Presley claims Lockwood’s financial demand are outrageous and she is nowhere near financially able to meet such demands. Early this year Blasting News reported that Lisa Marie Presley revealed publicly that she is broke.
The only daughter of entertainment icon Elvis Presley claims her vast fortune left to her by her late father is gone. Lisa claims she is financially destitute due to poor money management from her former business manager. Lisa Presley has also filed a lawsuit against her ex-business manager. However, in the meantime, it has been reported that Lisa Marie’s mom Priscilla Presley has opted to allegedly take matters into her own hand helping Lisa out financially.
Priscilla Presley is reportedly calling on all ex-boyfriends and pals to return Elvis Presley memorabilia. These were reportedly previous gifts given to her by Elvis, gifts she regifted and would now like back so she may sell them and give the money to Lisa Marie.
