Graceland Preps For Lisa Marie Presley’s Funeral
At this time, Graceland is busy making all the final preparations for Lisa Marie Presley’s Celebration of Life. But while fans mourn the loss of the only daughter of the late King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley, and his ex-wife Priscilla Presley, they can take some comfort in learning more about her life.
While touring Graceland, the Lisa Marie Presley exhibit, visitors will see old photos, toys, and baby clothes once belonging to Lisa Marie. Fans can also look at Elvis Presley’s private plane, which he named after his only child, according to TMZ.
Lisa Marie Presley: What Killed Lisa Marie?
Lisa Marie Presley died suddenly on January 12, 2023, after suffering full cardiac arrest at her Calabassas home. She was rushed to a nearby Los Angeles hospital, where she received the best care possible, according to her mother, Priscilla Presley.
All efforts were exhausted. Sadly, Lisa Marie died after a second cardiac arrest later that day. Family, friends, and fans have many unanswered questions regarding Presley’s death. A complete autopsy has been conducted. However, there are still no answers as to what Lisa Marie Presley’s official cause of death was.
Following the initial autopsy examination, the Los Angeles County Coroner’s report reveals that Presley’s cause of death has been deferred.
A deferral with the cause of death has not been determined. Instead, the medical examiner requests more investigation into the death, including additional studies. Once the tests/studies come back, the doctor re-evaluates the case and makes the cause of death determination,” according to CNN.
Saying Goodbye to Lisa Marie Presley
Preparations are still under for Sunday’s Celebration of Life memorial service. At this time, we know that Lisa Marie Presley will be laid to rest at Graceland’s Meditation Garden, where the grave sites of Elvis Presley, his parents, grandson, Benjamin Keough, and other family members are located.
Graceland expects a huge turnout on Sunday for Lisa Marie Presley’s memorial. For Presley family fans who cannot attend the service, Graceland is making accommodations with new details forthcoming.
For fans who plan on visiting Graceland later and wish to pay their respects to the Presley family, there is a special period for free admission walk-up visits to the Meditation Garden. Visitor walk-up times are daily from 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m.
