Lisa Marie Presley claims that during her brief relationship with the late King of Pop Michael Jackson, Michael was paranoid that someone was trying to kill him according to Cheatsheet.com.
It is not often that Lisa Marie Presley opens up on her private life. However, when discussing Michael Jackson, Presley states Michael was very similar to her father Elvis Presley in more ways than one.
Michael Jackson confided to Lisa Marie Presley he felt he would die like Elvis
Presley claims that during Jackson’s life he was in constant fear. He is a very paranoid person. She claims that one of Michael’s biggest fears is that he would face a tragic death similar to Elvis. Revealing his fear Michael told Lisa, ‘I am afraid that I am going to end up like him, (die) the way he did.’”
According to Lisa Marie‘s claims, Jackson thought that someone was trying to kill him. Things got so bad for the pop singer that he began questioning his relationships with many of his closest friends.
In the end, Jackson began agreeing with Lisa that most of the people around him were what Lisa labels as “vampires” people who would just feed off of him for as long as possible never really caring.
Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley shared similar traits claims Lisa Marie
On the day that Michael Jackson died Lisa stated, It was as if she watched a play by play, an exact scenario of her father’s death in 1977.
When speaking of her father Elvis, Lisa describes him as being very loving and involved when it came to her. She recalls the two of them having so much fun together, sometimes getting into a lot of mischiefs together.
The two would get up to no good at Graceland together, even crashing golf carts during midnight joyrides. Even though Lisa was very young at only 9-years-old when her father died she treasures every memory and detail of the times they shared.
“He was very protective, very adoring, very watchful. I knew that I was loved, there was no question about that. It’s not easy to come by, obviously, but it was very apparent to me. And it was very mutual,” she said.
Elvis showered Lisa with love and attention
Along with the good times, Lisa Marie also remembers some of the darker times spent with Elvis. Lisa recalls scary times in particular that vividly sticks in her mind.
They were times when she had to physically support her ailing father when he fell over.
“Out of nowhere he’d just start falling and I’d have to go run and catch him and he was about 6’2 and quite heavy and I’m holding him up,” she recalled.
“It was just starting to become too common. He was not too happy. He was in such an ivory tower and so untouchable and so alienated.”
“I actually said to him, ‘Please, you’re not going to die, are you? Don’t die.’ I didn’t know then what was going on. I wish I had. I didn’t have any clue what was happening. I just thought he’s not happy. ‘[I thought] My God what is going on?’” she explained.
Lisa Marie Presley has endured a lot of tragedy in her lifetime
Growing up as Elvis Presley’s daughter has not always been easy for Lisa. It has been a lot of sadness over the past few years, suffering one tragic blow after the next. Most recently, Lisa lost her only son Benjamin Keough.
Keough died in July from a self-inflicted gunshot leaving his mom Lisa Marie Presley completely heartbroken and inconsolable.
