Presley’s greatest heartbreak came to her on July 12, 2020. Lisa reveals her son Benjamin Keough’s tragic death shattered her heart and has left her devastated. For years, she admits she has been inconsolable.
Lisa Marie Slowly Moves On
Presley has been keeping a low public profile since Benjamin’s death. However, Presley recently appeared on social media to check in with her concerned fans.
Lisa writes, “I haven’t in a long time because there really isn’t much to say. I am and will forever be mourning the loss of my son. Navigating through this hideous grief that absolutely destroyed and shattered my heart and my soul into almost nothing has swallowed me whole. Not much else aside from my other three children gets my time and attention any more.”
Presley Reveals Thoughts On Elvis Biopic
Lisa Marie Presley states her thoughts on the new Baz Luhrmann, calling it exquisite. “Austin Butler channeled and embodied my father’s heart and soul beautifully. In my humble opinion, his performance is unprecedented and FINALLY done accurately and respectfully.”
Per the Express UK, Lisa says the film has brought her and her family great happiness and her first smile in two years.
Presley continues to reveal her daughters Riley Keough, and twins Harper and Finely Lockwood were visibly overwhelmed. She states that the film has filled them with pride about the grandfather and his legacy.
Lisa Marie admits her only regret saying, “It breaks my heart that my son isn’t here to see it. He would have absolutely loved it as well.”
