Lisa Marie Presley has been kicked out of the Church of Scientology.
Radar Online reports that the daughter of Elvis Presley and Priscilla Presley has been banned because they feel she is “too much of a loose cannon’ for their organization.
It is allegedly speculated that Lisa Marie Presley’s friends believe that the mother of 4 has returned to her old ways and could be using drugs again.
Sources close to Lisa Marie have reportedly claimed that Lisa is living like a recluse, leaving the house very little. They claim that Lisa Marie only leaves her home for doctors and dental appointments and allege that even then she appears to be very out of it. This is one of the reasons that the Church of Scientology has reportedly cut ties with Lisa Marie.
As previously reported, Presley admitted that over the years she has had her share of struggles with drugs. She has been in and out of rehab numerous times. In 2012 Lisa Marie reportedly announced that she was quitting the Church of Scientology claiming that it was too draining for her. Presley stated that the church was taking her “soul, her money, and her everything.”
Radar writes that according to insiders that Lisa Marie attempted to rejoin the church during her divorce from fourth husband Michael Lockwood. They claim that Lisa was so serious about Scientology at the time that high ranking Scientologists accompanied her to court during her ugly and bitter divorce battle.
However, these days, after deeming Lisa Marie a suppressive person the church has decided to distance themselves from Presley. Interestingly enough, despite cutting ties with Lisa Marie, her daughter Riley Keough and ex-husband Danny Keough remain active Scientology members. It is stated that Riley has been petitioning the church to reinstate her mom and also welcome her 10-year-old half sisters Finn and Harper into the church with open arms.
As previously reported Lisa Marie’s mom Priscilla Presley also remains an active member of the church and would like to see her daughter
reinstated.
Things have certainly been tough on Lisa Marie Presley in the past years or so with her recent divorce, custody case and lawsuits pertaining to her lost Elvis Presley inheritance. Obviously, Lisa Marie would like to finally find peace, however, those close to Presley are just not so sure returning to the Church of Scientology would be in Lisa’s best interest.
