Lisa Marie Presley’s son Benjamin Keough’s shocking death on July 12 has left the Presley family broken-hearted. TMZ reports that the 27-year-old son of Lisa Marie Presley’s cause of death has officially been listed as a suicide.
Lisa Marie Presley’s son Benjamin Keough’s known as the look-a-like grandson of the late King of Rock and Roll Elvis Presley has left Presley family and friends stunned and asking a lot of questions.

Thousands of Presley family fans took to social media sending their condolences to Lisa and family and asking many questions. Benjamin’s eerie similarities to his late grandfather entertainer Elvis Presley, however, did not stop at his looks.
Elvis fans remember well the somber day of August 16, 1977 when the singer was reportedly found dead facedown in his Graceland mansion’s master bathroom by his then-girlfriend Ginger Alden.
Keough was also found slumped over in the bathroom. Fans questioned if the troubled 27-year-old could have possibly planned his demise to mirror his famous grandfathers?
Benjamin, Lisa Marie’s only son was often described by fans and friends as appearing troubled. Those following the Presley family began sharing Keough’s Instagram photos revealing Ben’s dark, sad, and distant appearing eyes.
Also noted that it was very rare that Ben was ever seen publicly, or photographed smiling.
The Daily Mail UK reports that Ben’s close friend, musician Brandon Howard claims that Keough often felt the pressure of his famous family, struggling to live up to the Presley family name.
During an interview with People Howards stated, ‘That kind of pressure is definitely a part of what happened,’ he told the website. ‘It’s a tough thing when you have a lot of pressure with your family and living up to a name and an image.
He also claims that Keough battled depression, and feels that it was exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic causing people to stay at home. Howard added that despite Benjamin’s struggle he was a true friend.
Details concerning Lisa Marie Presley’s son Benjamin Keough have not been publicly revealed. It is speculated that a memorial in some form will take place at Graceland in the future. As to whether or not Benjamin Keough will be buried alongside grandfather Elvis Presley is yet to be revealed.
