Country legend Loretta Lynn has reportedly been forced to move from her beloved Tennessee ranch due to her rapidly failing health. According to Radar Online reports doctors have ordered the 86-year-old to take up residence just minutes away from the hospital ‘in case of emergencies.’
As previously reported, Loretta Lynn has been in failing health since suffering a deliberating stroke in 2017 which was followed by a nasty fall leaving the singer with a broken hip in 2018. It is now feared that due to her frail condition and advanced age that even the slightest medical emergency could kill her if medical care is not received immediately.
Sources close to Lynn claim that as much as Loretta loves living on her ranch, the home is more than 30 minutes away from Vanderbilt University Medical Center and that is a huge concern. In 2017, when Loretta suffered a stroke the aging singer was left immobile on the floor of her Hurricane Mills mansion for 14-hours before her grandson finally found her alone and suffering.
Now Loretta is just a couple of minutes from the hospital and is cared for by a full-time medical staff and a 24-hour around the clock certified private nurse. She is also visited by family members daily, who make sure that the beloved singer is receiving the best of care..
Lynn has made peace with the fact that her time here on earth is running short and has even allegedly planned her funeral. She accepts the facts that she is now limited due to her health conditions, but she is a stubborn woman and refuses to give up on the things she loves without a fight.
Despite her poor health, Loretta Lynn has not given up hope for returning to the stage to perform for her fans, which is what she truly loves doing. The singer often jokes that when her time does eventually come she will ‘probably be on stage.’
