Lori Loughlin and John Stamos have been beloved by fans across the world since they starred together as Uncle Jesse and Aunt Becky on the iconic sitcom “Full House.” The duo cemented their place in pop culture history with their characters. They’ve also seemingly cultivated a very loving and sweet friendship. However, that friendship may not be in jeopardy as the actress is said to be furious at her on-screen husband for recent claims he made about the two hooking up in the past. A he said/she said battle has now risen, and fans are being forced to choose sides.
Stamos previously claimed that he and Loughlin once had a steamy makeout session while riding a roller coaster together. He’s told the story publicly. However, the actress doesn’t seem to remember that at all. In fact, she’s denied her former co-star’s claims saying that their brief romantic encounter never happened. Sources now tell OK! Magazine that she’s furious with Stamos about the entire situation.
Lori Loughlin and John Stamos Feuding Over Hook-Up Claims?
“Lori is upset that John’s put her in this position,” an insider revealed. “This is so uncomfortable for Lori because she’s always had such a great relationship with John. But she’s done being the nice girl,” the source continued. “She’s sticking up for herself from now on.”
“He likes to tell some crazy story about how we made out on the Matterhorn, and I’m like, ‘What?'” Lori Loughlin said of John Stamos’ claim. “But I think that’s just for comedic value.”
Meanwhile, Stamos has previously revealed that he believed he and Loughlin were once headed for something much more than friendship. He admitted that he and his “Full House” wife seemed to be trending toward romance. He even accompanied her to a Victoria’s Secret party. However, at the party, he met model Rebecca Rominjn, and the two hit it off. They later got married, although things didn’t work out.
It’s unclear if Lori Loughlin or John Stamos is telling the truth about their alleged hook-up. However, “Full House” fans would love loved to see Jesse and Becky together in real life.
