During Friday night’s Season Finale, Louie’s mom, Donna Fojut, makes a shady attempt to make sure Melissa and Louie’s relationship stops before it even has time to get started. Is this the end of the road for them?
Love After Lockup: Donna Sees An Opportnity To Break Up Louie & Melissa
Donna Fojut has made her feelings abundantly clear about how she feels about her son Louie Fojut and Melissa Picariello’s relationship. She has not cared for her son’s girlfriend since day one, and now she sees an opportunity to cut Melissa out of the picture.
The former Love After Lockup inmate’s mom was thrilled when she heard that Melissa and Louie were having issues. So she began making moves to introduce her son to a few other women she felt may be more suitable for him.
Donna hates that Melissa wants Louie to leave her behind and move to New Jersey. But now that Melissa has second thoughts about continuing her relationship with Louie, Donna is ready to act.
Louie Disappoints His Mother?
It is no huge secret that Louie’s mom worships the ground he walks on. If she had her way, her son would continue living with her at home for the rest of her life. But Louie is searching for more. Now that he is out of prison, he dreams of moving to New Jersey with his Love After Lockup partner, Melissa, and starting a life and possibly a family with her.
Oddly enough, he is now receiving some resistance from the New Jersey native on this. Melissa told Louie that she needed some space and time to figure things out. She is starting to see that the high school Louie she had a huge crush on is not quite the guy she dreamed he would be.
Louie’s mom sees this as a golden opportunity. So she starts introducing her son to a few women she is pre-screening. Donna wants a woman for Louie that sees things her way. That will love and respect her thoughts, opinions and needs as well as her son.

So when Donna sets up a chance meeting between her son and a new woman, she hopes to see some sparks fly. But Louie is uninterested in meeting anyone else just yet. So he tells Donna and her setup he is only interested in Melissa. Of course, this upsets his mom, but she refuses to throw in the towel just yet.
Love After Lockup: Is Melissa Through With Louie?
Louie Fojut fears that Melissa Picariello is through with him. But he is determined to make things work between them. He tells her he is willing to do whatever it takes to prove to her that he is the man she needs.
The Love After Lockup Season Finally reveals that many of this season’s couples do not have what it takes to make it. However, Louie and Melissa’s story is not quite over. Fans can expect a bit of a cliffhanger during Friday night’s finale. But rest assured, this is not the last you will see of Melissa Picariello, Louie Fojut, or his mom, Donna.
