Melissa was thrilled once her Love After Lockup partner Loui was released. She couldn’t wait for them to be together finally. She has dreamed for more than 20 years of being “Louie from high school’s” girlfriend. But there is one thing that she didn’t count on dealing with the high school version of him.
The couple have a lot to learn about each other. Melissa Picariello knows that Louie has a lot to adjust to after spending more than a decade in prison. Life is different now. But she didn’t realize how dependent he would be after his release.
Melissa is at the end of her rope with Louie. He constantly calls her at all hours of the day and night, asking questions. She has told him that he needs to become more independent. She has tried to be patient with the transformation. But Melissa Picariello is over it. She knows Louie’s mom, Donna, would love to cater to her son’s every want and need. However, Melissa is not looking for a man-child to raise and demands he start figuring out some of this basic stuff independently.

Melissa Picariello is willing to hang in there with Louie Fojut. But a lot of things have to change, and soon. She doesn’t want to deal with him depending on her for his every move and thought.
Trust is also another big issue between them. Melissa still feels salty over Louie’s flirty behavior with their dance instructor. She fears his old high school player personality may return and is unwilling to deal with that.
