Love After Lockup star Louie Fojut is in hot water with his girlfriend Melissa Picariello. He is anxious to get his life back on track to feel normal again. He has some things he would like to take care of as soon as possible, but everything is so expensive. So when he takes it upon himself to make a significant purchase without talking to his partner first, it does not go over very well.
Love After Lockup: Melissa Picariello Insiste Louie Fojut See a Dentist
Melissa Picariello says all of her extra money has been going to taking care of her Love After Lockup partner, Louie Fojut. She knew it would take a bit before he would get on his feet financially. So she has been helping out with that.
One of the first things Melissa wants Louie to do is see a dentist. His dental hygiene has been badly neglected during his incarceration. This is something that he feels is urgent. Not only will it help with his conference and appearance, but she also needs to see Louie’s smile with a complete set of teeth.
The Love After Lockup couple visits the dentist to get some estimates on opinions on which route is best for Louie at this time. The dentist gives them an estimate for a complete set of dental implants. It will cost around $35k for the implants. This is way more than they can even consider spending at this time.
So, even though this is not Louie Fojut’s option, they decided to go with dentures. The dentures are still not cheap, but much more affordable at $4500. This is something Melissa tells Louie she can swing.
Louie Acts Before He Thinks
The Love After Lockup former inmate has only been out of prison a few days. He needs to find a job and start getting his life in order. Melissa Picariello and Louie Fojut have to part ways. She must get back to New Jersey for her postal job. She does not feel good about leaving Louie behind with only his mom, Donna, to ensure he stays on track.
But she doesn’t have a choice. She has to go back to work, and Louie must stay in Georgia until he gets permission from his parole officer to relocate to New Jersey. Melissa admits that their time together did not go as well as planned. But, she hopes once he gets to New Jersey, everything will fall into place for them.
Louie Fojut of Love After Lockup hopes to start work for his friend Dirk at his pizza parlor. Before Melissa Picariello left, she told her boyfriend he needed to start doing things independently to regain control of his life.
So he takes this advice and decides to buy a $5000 car. He is excited and calls Melissa to tell her his news. But she doesn’t take it well. She scolds Louie for spending $5k on a car when she is paying $4500 for his teeth. His attitude annoys her, and it gets worse when Louie turns it around to make it sound like this is her idea. She wanted him to act more independently. But Melissa isn’t having it, and she hangs up on Louie.
Love After Lockup: Is Melissa Having Second Thoughts?
Melissa Picariello admits her family disagrees with her relationship with Louie Fojut. They think she is making a huge mistake. The Love After Lockup star confides in her sister. She tells her that things are not going well.
Her sister tells her she believes Melissa may be more attracted to high school Louie than she is to ex-inmate Louie. But Melissa is not ready to give up on her high school crush just yet. She tells her sister that she thinks that Louie needs more time to adjust to life on the outside.
Melissa Picariello hopes that things will be better once Louie Fojut relocates to New Jersey and gets away from his mom and the bad memories and influences that played a part in his legal troubles.

Her sister tells her that she hopes so, but she is not so sure. She believes that Melissa Picariello wants to relive that high school dream of being with Louie Fojut so badly that she is blind to who he is now.
