Most Star Wars fans probably remember the young Mandalorian girl from the Star Wars Rebels animated series. Well, now Sabine from house Wren could possibly be getting her own show.

This would be yet another Star Wars series on Disney + alongside the Ashoka Tano show. The Ashoka show will pick up after the cliffhanger of Star Wars Rebels as the former padawan of Anakin Skywalker and Sabine Wren will be trying to track down the lost Jedi Ezra Bridger. Both Sabine and Ezra are going to make their live-action debuts in the Ashoka Tano series.

As we all know the studio is looking to make as many Star Wars TV series as possible so a Sabine solo show would not come as a surprise. “The introduction of these characters could end up creating spinoffs out of this spinoff. Specifically, we’ve heard that Lucasfilm is in early development on a solo show for Sabine Wren. It’s currently unknown just how big a role she’ll have in Ahsoka, but we’ve been told—by the same sources who informed us Luke Skywalker was cameoing in The Mandalorian season 2 finale—that Sabine will be the sole leader of this project,” reports We Got This Covered.

Why Sabine Wren is so interesting

Sabine Wren is a very interesting character. At an early age, Sabine was enrolled at an imperial academy where she was training to become a soldier of the empire. After that, she was saved by Jedi Knight Kanan Jarus and a Twi’lek star pilot named Harra. Later, they would find a young Ezra Bridger while getting supplies to aid a planet in need. Sabine would build a little brother-type bond with Ezra and try to look out for him as best as she could. This bond is what is going to give Sabine the motivation to help Ashoka try to track down Ezra in the Ashoka Tano TV series.

It will be very interesting to see who they cast to play Sabine Wren as she does spend a lot of time under her helmet. Either way, they did a great job casting the Mando so fans have high hopes for Sabine Wren.

Currently, we don’t know what the show could be about or how big of a role Sabine will play in the Ashoka show. However, it has the potential to be a different, yet still amazing, Star Wars story that helps us all understand a character more and helps expand the galaxy even further.
