Luke Perry Dead At 52, Fans Heartbroken As 2019 Celebrity Death List Continues To Grow

Luke Perry has died at the age of 52 after suffering a massive stroke at his California home on February 27 according to TMZ. Perry’s death was confirmed by his publicist Arnold Robinson on Monday morning.

Luke Perry is best known for his breakout role on the popular 90’s drama Beverly Hills 90210 as bad boy heartthrob Dylan McKay, and most recently as Fred Andrews of Riverdale sadly died Monday morning at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Burbank California surrounded by his family and close friends.

“He was surrounded by his children Jack and Sophie, fiancé Wendy Madison Bauer, ex-wife Minnie Sharp, mother Ann Bennett, step-father Steve Bennett, brother Tom Perry, sister Amy Coder, and other close family and friends. The family appreciates the outpouring of support and prayers that have been extended to Luke from around the world, and respectfully request privacy in this time of great mourning. No further details will be released at this time,” a statement from Robinson read.

Luke passed away Monday morning at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Burbank. According to his rep, Luke was surrounded by his children Jack and Sophie, fiance Wendy Madison Bauer, ex-wife Minnie Sharp, mother Ann Bennett, step-father Steve Bennett, brother Tom Perry, sister Amy Coder, and other close family and friends.

As previously reported, Luke Perry was rushed to the hospital early Wednesday after suffering a massive stroke. Earlier reports revealed that Perry was said to have been responsive and talking when paramedics arrived on the scene, however, his condition rapidly deteriorated and the actor was quickly transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

Reps stated that doctors had sedated Luke, hoping to give his brain a fighting chance to recover from the trauma of the stroke … sadly, the damage was too extensive.

2019 is already looking to be a very grim year as far as celebrity deaths. Only four days into March, fans have already been shockingly forced to say goodbye to more than three dozen beloved actors, musicians, and comedians.

Other 2019 celebrity deaths include Keith Flint, Andy Anderson, Lisa Sheridan, Mark Hollis, Katherine Helmond, Brody Stevens, Peter Tork, Cadet, Kristoff St John, James Ingram, Carol Channing, to name just a few on the list.

Perry’s death is hitting fans hard, and there has been an overwhelming response to his passing online, with terms such as “Dylan McKay” trending on Twitter.
