Rapper Mac Miller is dead at the age of 26. Ariana Grande’s former boyfriend was found on Friday at his home in San Fernando Valley, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to a Sept. 7 report by TMZ, Maci Miller has struggled with substance abuse in the past. Recently, the rapper wrecked his car when his hit a utility pole in May, just days after his break up with Ariana Grande was announced.
Mac fled the seed of the accident, and when cops found him he later confessed to the hit and run at his home. He then blew two times the alcohol legal limit.
After his arrest, Grande tweeted, “Pls take care of yourself,” seemingly concerned for her ex-boyfriend’s well being. After their relationship ended, Ariana had made it clear that Mac’s substance abuse was a major reason that their 2-year relationship ended.

The singer quickly moved on from Mac Miller with Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson. The pair got engaged after only a few weeks of dating, and have been showcasing their romance ever since.
Mac Miller was supposed to start a tour in October. The story is still breaking, and much more is likely to come out about the rapper’s apparent overdose, as well as Ariana Grande’s reaction to his shocking death.
