Last week, Machine Gun Kelly played the final show of his Mainstream Sellout tour in his hometown of Cleveland Ohio. MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker, always likes to go big for Cleveland fans, as he put on a very extravagant show for The Land.
The singer went all out by ziplining down from the top of the sold-out First Energy Stadium which is the home of the Cleveland Browns football team. He descended while singing his hometown anthem, “Till I Die,” and ended with a inflicting a bloody face injury on himself.
Machine Gun Kelly Smashes A Glass On His Face During Cleveland Concert
The stunt that occured between songs as he drank a glass of red wine and told the screaming fans that the security was trying to cut his setlist short due to a strict curfew.
“They’re in my ears right now, and they’re saying that if we don’t stop the concert right now, we’re gonna get fined $70,000 for every 10 minutes that we continue,” Machine Gun Kelly told the crowd. “You know what I say to that? We ain’t stopping this concert for s—.”
After finishing the wine, the shirtless rocker broke the glass on his face and shouted, “I’m rich, b***h!” A bloody-faced MGK then performed his next song, per to People.
This isn’t the first time this artist smashed a glass on his face. He did the same with a champagne glass while headlining a Mainstream Sellout show at Madison Square Garden in New York City. After the concert, MGK could be seen leaving the show with his girlfriend Megan Fox with dry blood on his face and clothes.
MGK also had a lot of friends he brought out to Cleveland with the most noticeable being the drummer from Blink-182 Travis Barker. Barker and Baker then played a few songs together including “All The Small Things” by Blink-182.
The singer has been known to display wild behavior at his shows. However, he’s also made headlines on the red carpet. He also recently stunned fans by getting into a fight with Connor McGregor at the MTV VMAS.
Machine Gun Kelly definitely left a lasting impression on his Cleveland fans. The city loves him, and the hometown star returns the sentiment with the energy in his performances.
