“Magic Mike 2” is in full swing. Warner brothers has officially given the sequel a July 2015 release date.
‘Magic Mike 2’ release date set for July 2015
The sequel will play off of the 2012 film directed by Steven Soderbergh, which was based off of star Channing Tatum’s early days as a male stripper.
The original film starred Tatum along with Alex Pettyfer, Matthew McConaughey, Matt Bomer, and Joe Manganiello and made more than $113.7 million.
Women went wild for Channing Tatum and wild bunch of fellow strippers, but the story line of the sequel leaves some questions to be answered.
Who will return for the ‘Magic Mike’ sequel?
Tatum’s character, Mike, quit the business to follow his heart, while Alex Pettyfer’s character, “The Kid” became the main attraction in Matthew McConaughey’s male review. So, where does the story go from there?
It’s hard to say but Channing Tatum seems to know as he’s already begun the writing process, and we’re looking forward to some on set photos in the near future.
