The Masked Singer fans can’t get enough of the singing competition show. Everyone is dying to know who is behind all of those incredible masks, and The Giraffe is one the most wondered-about personalities.
The Giraffe may be a sports legend
During the first episode, Giraffe gave fans a ton of illusive clues, but there were a few that stood out to some fans, including a hint about being a pain in the neck. Some fans now believe that former NFL quarterback, Peyton Manning, could be behind the costume.
In a brand new clue, he even reveals that he has something in common with a giant, which could be a hint about Peyton’s younger brother, fellow NFL quarterback, Eli Manning.
Some fans have taken to Twitter to reveal some other guesses for who could possibly be under the tall animal mask. Stars such as Ice T, Machine Gun Kelly, Aziz Ansari, Drake, Macklemore, and Eminem.
Many people are also taking to social media with an over abundance of guesses that the Giraffe could be famed Hamilton star, Lin Manuel-Miranda.
So far, two people have been unmasked during Season 4 of The Masked Singer. During the premiere episode, Busta Rhymes was revealed to be the Dragon. Busta delivered a powerful rap performance that had fans, and the judges, immediately recognizing his deep voice.
During week two of the competition, The Gremlin impressed with his rich and soulful voice. However, there was no elimination. Instead, the star decided to end his short run on the show by taking off his own mask and revealing himself to be none other than Oscar winning actor, Mickey Rourke.
Some fans have brought about the theory that the show is getting some of it’s bigger names (such as Little Wayne from last season) to appear for one or two episodes and then kicking them off so that they don’t have to have a long run on the series.
While this is not a confirmed theory, it still remains fun to try to guess which star could be popping up next when each new episode airs.
There will be stiff competition
Meanwhile, the third episode will air on Wednesday, October 7. Fans will get to watch The Giraffe battle to stay on the show for another week as he’ll be joined by The Sun, Snow Owls, and Pop Corn on the stage as they all try to move on to the next round.
The Masked Singer airs every Wednesday night at 8 p.m. est on the Fox network.
