Mayans Season 5 will officially be the last for the Sons of Anarchy spin-off. Fans are less than thrilled about the show ending at FX. However, there is excitement surrounding the show’s final season. This is because there are plenty of questions to be answered in the last batch of episodes.
There are many unresolved storylines that will need to be addressed during the final season of the fan-favorite series. Angel’s baby, EZ’s romantic life, Emily and Miguel’s relationship, and more. Of course, two characters whose relationship will also be in question are that of Letty (Emily Tosta) and Hope (Vanessa Giselle).
Fans may remember that Letty was revealed to be the daughter of Coco after years of believing that he was her older brother. Coco allowed his own mother, Celia, to raise Letty. However, Celia was a terrible mother to both Coco and Letty. Eventually, Coco and Letty formed a father and daughter bond. However, when Hope entered the picture things changed.
Mayans Season 5 burning question: Is Hope Letty’s mother?
Fans first met Hope when Coco found himself at a sketchy community full of drug addicts. It seemed that Coco’s life may be in danger until a voice called out to him from the crowd. Later, Coco and Hope were alone in her trailer when she shot him heroin. This led to a serious addiction for Coco. However, after a prolonged time of struggling with his addiction, Coco began to clean up his life. He also wanted to help Hope.
Coco ended up saving Hope from the drug-addicted community, but things weren’t easy for them. The pair looked to get clean and sober together. Coco seemed to have an easier time than Hope. Eventually, Hope found a job but seemed very unhappy with her life. She and Letty also didn’t get along well. Letty had no respect for Hope and didn’t want her living with her and Coco.
However, after Coco’s tragic death, fans saw Hope and Letty grow close as they grieved together. Now some fans are wondering if Hope may be Letty’s mother.
Hope and Letty have formed a strong bond
Mayans Season 5 will hopefully see more of Hope and Letty’s bond. The pair are basically the only family each other has. Letty has made it clear that she wants Hope to stay with her. Now some viewers just want to see the reveal that Hope is Letty’s biological mother. Since it’s unclear who Letty’s real mom is, why not Hope?
Fans will have to wait to get answers about Hope and Letty’s future during Mayans Season 5.
