Meatloaf Takes A Nasty Fall Off Stage, Breaks Collarbone

Meat Loaf took a nasty tumble off the stage Saturday evening during a Q&A session at the 2019 Texas Frightmare Weekend resulting in a broken collarbone according to the Metro.

It was a nasty spill for Meatloaf who reportedly tripped up on some loose wires on stage. The 71-year-old “Two Out Of Three Ain’t Bad” hit maker was walking to the right side of the stage when he was seen suddenly stumbling, falling and disappearing behind a set of black stage curtains.

The audience, who had been enjoying the Q&A session suddenly looked very confused and silent after realizing the singer had taken a spill. Meatloaf, who’s name is Michael Lee Aday (born Marvin Lee Aday was taken to a local hospital where he was treated for a broken collarbone and kept overnight for observation.

In 2018 Meatloaf fans grew very concerned for the singer after he revealed in a Rolling Stone interview that his health was not good.

Aday admitted that hair is thinning, his hands are unsteady, his back is such a mess he can’t get into bed at night without help from Deborah, his wife of 10 years, much less put on his socks and shoes.

It has been a long and painful haul for Meatloaf, who after more than 5 decades has been performing to have to admit that the time comes for everyone, whether you are famous or not that you just have to realize that you are not as young as you used to be and we all have to slow it down a bit and enjoy life at a slower pace. We wish Meatloaf a speedy and full recovery and look forward to seeing him back on stage in the near future.
