Meg Ryan has been cast as the narrator in the “How I Met Your Mother” spin-off, “How I Met Your Dad.”

Ryan will do the voiceover work that Bob Saget did in “How I Met Your Mother,” as the mother’s future self, telling her children how she met their father.
Meg Ryan is a great addition to the “How I Met Your Dad” cast, and although she won’t appear on screen her voice will undoubtabley give the series a great push and welcoming tone. We can just hear Meg now saying “Kids, the story of how I met your dad is a complicated one…”

Meg Ryan has starred in amazing films such as “When Harry Met Sally,” “Sleepless in Seattle,” and more, and is beloved by fans.
Although Ryan hasn’t been in the spotlight much in recent years, her involvement on “How I Met Your Dad” could give her a bit of a comeback if she so wishes.
