The 44-year-old “Bridesmaids” star wowed fans with her much slimier frame wearing a purple and white kimono-style dress that revealed a more svelte Melissa McCarthy. Melissa recently spoke of her weight struggles, “Sometimes I wish I were just magically a size six and I never had to give [my weight] a single thought. It’s something I’m always working on.”

Melissa McCarthy claims her inspiration and motivation behind her weight loss was her family. The mother of two daughters credited her weight loss success to maintaining a low-carb diet. Melissa McCarthy was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Tuesday. McCarthy who stars in the new film “Spy” was joined by her husband, Ben Falcone, along with Ellen DeGeneres and director Paul Feig, who directed her in “Bridesmaids,” “The Heat.”

As for her future projects Melissa reveals she is launching a clothing line for plus-size women. Melissa McCarthy’s new fashion line is set to debut in the fall of 2015.
