Michael Douglas may be facing a new cancer battle that could place his life in danger once again according to National Enquirer.
Michael Douglas could be gearing up once again to battle cancer. The “Fatal Attraction” star underwent multiple cancer treatments back in 2010 after being diagnosed with stage four tongue cancer. In 2016 it was alleged that Douglas’ cancer had returned and rumors began circulating that the actor had been given only six months to live.
Now just nine years later Michael is possibly facing even more cancer issues. The tabloid, posts that signs point to Douglas’ health decline and possible cancer relapse.
Their “experts” claim that Douglas has been seen out with new facial lesions on his nose, face and chest that could indicate that Michael’s frightening disease has once again reared an ugly head.
“The bandage on his nose indicates he has likely had surgery to remove a skin cancer,” observed New York-based internist Dr. Stuart Fischer, who has not treated 74-year-old Michael.
“While skin cancer is not related to the tongue cancer he suffered in the past, the lesions are bad signs that cancer is still metabolically active in his body — and a very dangerous sign it may have spread.”
On April 30, the actor was seen out publicly with the lesions and a very noticeable drop in weight. Witnesses claim that Douglas’ face was very gaunt and his eyes were sunken in. They claim the actor’s clothes were hanging very loosely from his frame which was reportedly at least twenty pounds heavier just weeks before.
The doctor also states, though Michael Douglas is not his patient there is a very high risk for cancer to return to another part of the body following the original cancer treatment. Douglas also carries another dangerous risk potential which could make his cancer return risk even higher, his past history with alcohol abuse, heavy, smoker and excessive exposure to the sun.
Dr. Fischer also claims that despite Michael Douglas having beaten his initial cancer diagnosis his odds are very high that metastatic lesions may be present in their bodies.
Hopefully, whatever ails Michael Douglas is not quite as serious as it appears. We wish him all the best.
