Miley Cyrus comes from a very famous family. However, like many other families, they seem to have their ups and downs. Currently, a Cyrus family feud is said to be tearing the brood apart. Despite all of the ill feelings going on, the fam’s most famous member, Miley, is said to be butting heads with her younger sister, Noah.
Why are Miley Cyrus and Noah Cyrus feuding?
Recently, reports of Miley Cyrus’ family being at odds have been making headlines. However, there was no real concrete evidence. Meanwhile, a resurfaced interview and a social media comment have sparked more rumors. Back in 2020, Miley sat down for an interview with Joe Rogan on his podcast. When asked about Noah, Miley joked that her music was depressing and called her an “emo kid.” Rogan then suggested that Noah may need to see a doctor.
“She is, we’re all at the doctor a lot. We have, like, a salary doctor. She’s dealing with it but she’s only 20, so I worry about her… Dude, if you don’t look like these girls on Instagram,” Miley responded. Although the interview was given years ago, it’s now being reported that Noah left a shady comment on the clip via social media (via Yahoo). “The disrespect in this video…” she reportedly wrote. This newer feud between Miley and Noah comes amid reports of a bigger family issue that has plagued the clan and divided them between their parents.
Miley’s parents are reportedly at the heart of the Cyrus family feud
Hollywood News Daily previously reported that Miley Cyrus’ parents, Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish Cyrus, could have sparked the feud among their children. The couple, who were together for 30 years before getting divorced share five children together. The oldest, Trace and Brandi, were adopted by Billy Ray after marrying Tish. The two went on to welcome Miley, Noah, and Braison together during their relationship. Recently, both Billy Ray and Tish have moved on, and the kids aren’t exactly thrilled about their parents’ choice in partners.
In August 2023, Tish Cyrus married “Prison Break” star Dominic Purcell. However, only Trace, Brandi, and Miley were in attendance at the nuptials. OK! Magazine reports that the youngest Cyrus siblings, Braison and Noah Cyrus, opted not to attend because they disapproved of the marriage. Of course, Miley was said to be upset by her younger siblings’ actions. “She’s very frustrated and disappointed with Noah and Braison,” said a source. “It saddens her because she adores Dominic and can see he’s a great match for her mother.”
Miley allegedly doesn’t approve of Billy Ray’s new wife
Meanwhile, Miley Cyrus is said to have a problem with Billy Ray’s choice of romantic partner. The former country music singer recently wed his much younger girlfriend, Firerose. The two tied the knot in October 2023. “Miley feels her dad is making a fool of himself with that relationship,” said the insider. “She’s ended up siding with her mom, but only because she feels Tish has been the more reasonable party out of the two of them,” an insider dished.
The Cyrus family feud appears to be messy, and sadly, the drama may impact Miley and Noah Cyrus’ sister bond. However, fans are hoping that the siblings can get through their issues and work things out in the future.
