Milwaukee Rallys Past Atlanta As Bucks Grab A 2-1 Series Lead

Sunday night was Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals and the Milwaukee Bucks had a very rocky start. But were able to stun the Hawks and come back from being down 15 and steal back home-court advantage.

Sunday’s Game 3 was a very memorable night for all-star Khris Middleton as “The Bucks scored 30 points in the fourth quarter, but Middleton had 20 of them. He made more 3-pointers (six) than the rest of his teammates combined (five). He tied for the team lead with 11 rebounds and trailed only Jrue Holiday with seven assists,” according to CBS Sports.

The Bucks are now only two wins away from a trip to the 2021 NBA Finals and that would be their first chance to represent the Eastern Conference since 1974. Of course back to back NBA most valuable player award winner Giannis Antetokounmpo did his thing as he always does, scoring 33 points with 4 assists and 11 rebounds as well. Milwaukee definitely owes this win to Khris Middelton though as he scored 38 points and was the go-to option down the stretch.

After the Game 1 loss it seems the Bucks have turned it up a notch and whatever they are doing is working. Giannis Antetokounmpo is still having some trouble with his foul shot shooting but The Bucks are scoring so many points it’s not having a huge impact on this series.

Bucks and Hawks Duke It Out In Game 3

Milwaukee has now won two games in a row to take the series lead and home-court advantage. The way the Bucks have been playing those two games if they continue this high-level basketball they will for sure be in the Finals and competing for a championship.

The Hawks on the other side of things need to step up especially if Trae Young is ruled out for Game 4. Atlanta can not afford to go down 3-1 to this Bucks team if they want any chance to go to the NBA Finals this year they have to take this next game while they are still in Atlanta.

Game 4 is crucial to both teams and should be an all-out battle with or without Trae Young it will be a must-watch. It should be very interesting to see who comes out of the east as in the west the Phoenix Suns look to put the Los Angeles Clippers to bed and take the gentleman’s sweep.
