Mischa is best known for playing the character Marissa Cooper on the Fox teen drama “The O.C.” alongside Ben MacKenzie, Adam Brody, and Rachel Bilson. However, decided to leave the show and was killed off in the Season 3 finale, changing the feel of the show. Now she’ll be joining the cast of “Dancing With The Stars.”
As a child actress, Mischa Barton appeared in films such as “Notting Hill” and “The Sixth Sense,” but after leaving “The O.C.” seemingly took a turn in her professional life as well as made headlines for allegedly hard partying. Recently, she’s been starring in a string of Indie films.

Twitter‘DWTS’ Changes Coming
Things will be a bit different on “Dancing With The Stars” this year as there has been another change at the judge’s table. Julianne Hough will not be returning to the show, yet Len Goodman will be back in his seat as head judge on the ABC dancing competition.
Meanwhile, We know that Mischa Barton won’t be partnered with Derek Hough, as Julianne’s brother, and the most winning “Dancing With The Stars” pro has also confirmed he would not be appearing during Season 22. Instead, Derek will be appearing on Broadway in “Singing In The Rain.”
Will Mischa Barton be one of the front runners during Season 22, or even use “Dancing With The Stars” as a career comeback like many celebrities before her? Only time will tell, but we’ll be rooting for Marissa Cooper!
