It seems we are going to be getting a look at “Underneath The Helmet” a documentary about Boba Fett’s rise to fame amongst the Star Wars fandom. Boba Fett, everyone’s favorite bounty hunter at one point or another.
Boba Fett when he was first seen on the big screen during “The Empire Strikes Back” was considered just a side character and had very little dialogue. He then rose to stardom when he quickly become a fan favorite due to his ruthlessness and his warrior abilities.
“Under the Helmet: The Legacy of Boba Fett is the new documentary special now available on the House of Mouse’s streaming platform and was one of a series of announcements on the Disney Plus official Twitter Friday. They also dropped an epic new poster for the documentary, featuring the character in a hand-drawn mock-up with historical Polaroids spread out on an artist’s drafting table,” reports We Got This Covered.
Fans were very shocked about Boba Fett’s return in The Mandalorian Season 2 after he was presumed dead, and they were even more surprised when it was announced that he would be getting his own spin-off show.
There was an after-credits scene of the last episode of The Mandalorian Season 2 that showed Boba Fett going to the Iconic planet of Tatooine to take over what was formulary Jabba’s palace now under the control of one of Jabba’s men. Boba makes quick work of anyone who opposes his claim to the throne of a huge criminal organization, and that is where The Book Of Boba Fett will start.
It will be very interesting to see where the story goes and what it will lead up to. It is unclear what Boba’s mission is at this moment in time. Is he just trying to run Jabba’s former organization? Or is he after revenge for everyone who got him to where he is now?
It will also be interesting to see how long this series will last. Will it be more of a short story in the grand scheme of Star Wars? Or will Boba Fett make a huge splash in the Star Wars galaxy? Boba Fett could be trying to make an even bigger name for himself outside of bounty hunting as a crime lord or again he could just be after revenge.
One thing is for sure this show is sure to be a great one and hopefully Disney can keep pumping out these hit shows because that is what the fanbase wants to see, good quality Star Wars.
