New ‘Star Wars: Hunters’ Game Has Fans Very intrigued

On Wednesday, fans got to see a trailer for a brand new Star Wars game called Star Wars: Hunters. Star Wars: Hunters is a free-to-play game that will be on the Nintendo Switch and mobile. The new cinematic trailer for the game shows some playable characters as well as some game modes.

Star Wars: Hunters has remained further off-radar than even the Dagobah system since its initial announcement as part of the February 2021 Nintendo Direct. With very few details shared at the Nintendo event aside from a short teaser trailer and the game’s logo, fans’ first real look at the title came during the release of its recent cinematic trailer,” reports IGN.

The trailer shows a fight between a Sith warrior and her Mandalorian counterpart. But one character that fans were very interested in was two Jawas stacked on top of one another. Even though they got little screen time in the trailer the Outer-rim tag team was seen readying a grenade before the see was cut off.

‘Star Wars: Hunters’ will be released in 2022

Another character fans were interested in was the Wookie warrior that seemed to have a talent for disarming droids. A limited amount of gameplay was also shown in the trailer in last nights’ Apple showcase to display the power of the companies new iPad mini. Star Wars: Hunters is set to release sometime in 2022 for the switch and mobile devices.

The fans that know about this game are a little disappointed that the game will not be on console or PC but it is a possibility that if it does well enough that it could be transitioned over. But for now, we can only hope that the game does well enough for that to happen. This game has the opportunity to be a big game for the Star Wars franchise, and for the mobile gaming community who do not necessarily have a lot of games to choose from.

It seems that fans will have to wait until more information is dropped or leaked about this game to see whether it will be as good as the trailer implied. It will be very interesting to see how the game will develop and if they will add more characters as the game gets older and maybe even put it on console and PC. This game could help the mobile gaming community by giving them a high-quality Star Wars game to play and enjoy but only time will tell if this game will live up to the hype or not.
