The Cleveland Browns have had a few key injuries so far this season, but none of them have been as heartbreaking as Nick Chubb’s. Chubb went down in week two against the Pittsburgh Steelers with what everyone thought was a season-ending knee injury. The Retrun Of Nick Chubb?
Early on Tuesday morning, Nick Chubb underwent a successful knee surgery to repair his slightly damaged ACL. After Chubb’s return to Football was said to be next season, RB1 turned around to post a picture of Batman holding his mask from the movie The Dark Knight Rises. This specific scene is after Bane breaks Batman’s back and the hero heals incredibly fast in order to save Gotham City. For those of you who don’t know, Nick Chubb’s nickname is Batman.
A return to action that soon after a horrible injury would be nothing short of a miracle for The Cleveland Browns. Cleveland is coming off a huge win over the decision-leading Baltimore Ravens. Deshaun Watson seemingly found himself in the second half as he was 14/14 with 134 yards and a touchdown. Watson led the Browns to a big comeback win and set up the game-winning field goal.
Of course, a Nick Chubb comeback is still highly unlikely. There is also no need to rush his return as the Browns are still among the league leaders in the run game. But, let’s not buy into the narrative that Chubb will return next season. Let’s say he does come back this year, what would that look like? Well, it would be most definitely in the postseason. Waiting until the playoffs would give Chubb the most time to rest for his return to Football.

The Cleveland Browns Are Ready!
The Cleveland Browns are already looking scary after that Week 10 win. Cleveland’s defense is the best in the NFL by far, and if Deshaun Watson has truly been reawakened then their offense will catch up very quickly. With Amari Cooper, David Njoku, and Nick Chubb it would be a pick-your-poison scenario for opposing defenses.
This would be the best-case scenario for the Cleveland Browns. Getting arguably their best player back for a playoff run would light an even bigger fire under this team. The Cleveland Browns are hungry, they are ready, they are willing. This team stands on business and adding Nick Chubb into that is lights out.
