Olivia Newton-John Continues To Battle Cancer-Related Health Issues

Olivia Newton-John has revealed that she has been privately recovering from a cancer-induced pelvic fracture for the past six months according to the Daily Mail. Fan concern for the “Grease” star’s health has continued to mount since the news broke that  Newton-John’s cancer had returned and spread throughout her body.

As previously reported in August, Olivia Newton-John’s deadly cancer has resurfaced spreading into the bones of her lower back. The news of cancer quickly prompted erroneous reports that Olivia had been given just weeks to live.

The 70-year-old star quickly denied all rumors. However, Olivia recently spoke with People revealing, that she had begun feeling severe pain and learned that she had suffered a pelvic fracture as a result of cancer spreading to her sacrum. In 2017, Olivia revealed that she has been pairing traditional medicine with holistic wellness methods, has long credited the use of herbs and cannabis with feeling her best.

“That’s a major part of her treatment and recovery,” the source says. “A lot of the reason she’s looking and feeling so great has to do with the holistic stuff she’s doing. She has always been about healing the body, mind and spirit.”

Olivia revealed she did spend her 70th birthday at the hospital receiving treatment adding that she is ‘feeling good’ now.

‘I’m feeling good, just getting stronger,’ Olivia said of her current status.

Olivia’s health issues are currently under control. Olivia Newton-John is currently promoting the American-version of her memoir entitled “Don’t Stop Believin” which is due to hit book store shelves on March 12.

Olivia Newton-John fans continue to send positive vibes and well wishes to Olivia via social media as she continues her daily fight  remaining positive and taking things one day at a time. She really is a true inspiration to all who continue to also bravely fighting cancer each and every day.
