“Outlander” aired it’s most action-packed, heartbreaking, and dramatic episode to date this week. The episode, titled “Faith,” was one of the best the series has to offer, and left fans freaking out about what comes next for the show’s beloved characters, Claire and Jamie. ‘Outlander’ Spoilers: 5 Craziest Moments From ‘Faith’
1.) Claire Loses The Baby: While fans of the “Outlander” book series have a pretty good idea about where the show is going, viewers were stunned during Saturday’s episode to see that Claire and Jamie’s baby had died. Claire wakes up from her birth to learn that her baby, a daughter, had been born dead. Claire’s baby was baptized and given the name Faith.
2.) Black Jack Randall’s Most Appalling Crime: Fergus finally confesses the reason why Jamie and Black Jack Randall dueled, even though he had sworn to Claire that he wouldn’t. Fergus tells Claire that when he and Jamie were at Maison Elise, Back Jack Randall attacked and raped him. Jamie came in to find him raping Fergus, and demanded that they duel immediately. Yes, the “Outlander” rape scenes seem to be non-stop.
3.) Le Comte St. Germain Dies: When Claire finds out what happened between Randall, Jamie, and Fergus she tries to find a way to have Jamie freed from prison. Her only option is to beg the king to let him free. However, the favor comes with a price. Claire forced to pretend she’s La Dame Blanche, but she’s also involved in killing Le Comte St. Germain, who finally admits it was he who tried to poison Claire.

4.) Claire Is Unfaithful To Jamie: Although Claire has done with the king has asked, there is one more matter to discuss, and that is payment for Jamie’s freedom. The king decides that he wants to make love to Claire, and she lets him. The experience if quick and Jamie is released from prison shortly after. This is a very sad moment for fans of the beloved “Outlander” couple.
5.) Claire and Jamie’s Honest Conversation: When Jamie is finally brought home from prison, he and Claire have a very honest, and heartbreaking conversation. Jamie tells her why he had to duel Randall, and Claire confesses that she slept with the king to buy his freedom. Jamie is understanding, and tells her he understands, because he did the same with Randall to ensure her own safety. Claire isn’t done yet, she also describes to Jamie the heartbreaking scene of her holding their dead daughter in her arms, and being forced to say goodbye to the child who never drew breathe. In the end, the couple decide to heal together by heading home to Scotland, which seems to delight Jamie.
