Paul George has officially been traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder to play alongside newly crowned league MVP Russell Westbrook. The Indiana Pacers have agreed to trade George to the Thunder and as apart of the deal the Pacers will get guard Victor Oladipa and big man Domantas Sabonis.

According to ESPN, the Paul George trade to the Thunder ends weeks of speculation about where Paul would end up next season. Many teams were said to be close to landing the superstar, such as the Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics, and Houston Rockets. Now, those teams are going back to the drawing board to try and find another way to get better before the 2017-2018 NBA season.

The Paul George trade news comes just days after it was revealed Chris Paul would be signing with the Houston Rockets and teaming up with MVP candidate James Harden. Other big moves this off season include the Bulls trading Jimmy Butler to the Minnesota Timberwolves and releasing guard Rajon Rondo. Chris Paul’s former teammate, Blake Griffin, is said to sign a new 5-year deal with the LA Clippers after Chris’ departure.

Now, the biggest free agent left on the market could be Carmelo Anthony, who will most likely leave the New York Knicks, and could possibly end up signing with the Cleveland Cavaliers to play with his close friend LeBron James.

Buckle up, sports fans. It’s about to be a wild ride.
