Priscilla Presley Blames Elvis For Failed Romance With Robert Kardashian
Elvis Presley is reportedly to blame for derailing Priscilla Presley’s relationship with Robert Kardashian. Priscilla Presley and Elvis were married from 1967 to 1973 and shared one child, their daughter Lisa Marie Presley. Following their divorce, Priscilla dated a few men on and off. But her romance with Kim Kardashian’s late father, Robert Kardashian, is the one she holds nearest to her heart.
Priscilla is dishing on all the details of her past. The new film ‘Pricilla,’ based on her love affair with the late King of Rock and Roll, is stirring up many past feelings for Priscilla Presley.
During her promo interviews, Priscilla spills a lot of tea regarding her past romances. Per TMZ, Priscilla revealed she was nearly a Kardashian. From 1975-1976, Robert Kardashian and Priscilla Presley carried on a hot and heavy affair. Things were so serious between the pair that Kardashian allegedly made plans to make her his wife. There was just one thing that stood in their way.
Robert Kardashian Annoyed By Elvis’ Control
Priscilla Presley claims that she was in love with Robert Kardashian. However, she remains devoted and controlled by Elvis Presley. Per TMZ, Kardashian was head over heels in love with Priscilla. He shared his dreams of getting married and raising a family together.
However, in 2017’s book “The Kardashians: An American Drama,” it’s noted that Robert Kardashian revealed feeling like a third wheel. He states that Elvis would often insert his presence by interrupting Priscilla and Robert’s time together in controlling and bizarre ways.
Priscilla’s relationship with Robert Kardashian Sr. faced obstacles from the start. Robert’s then-girlfriend, Kris Jenner, expressed disappointment upon witnessing their blossoming affection. In her autobiography, Kris revealed feeling “bummed” about the undeniable chemistry between Priscilla and Robert.
But nothing, nor anyone, had the effect over Priscila like Elvis. It is also noted that Robert shared with a friend some of the awkward and alarming ways Elvis controlled Priscilla. The Kardashian source recalls Robert complaining that Elvis called while he was making love to Priscilla … who then propped the bedside receiver on the pillow between them — forcing him to listen to their convo.
Elvis’ primary concern, however, was their daughter Lisa Marie. He was adamant that he did not want Priscilla to see other men for the sake of their daughter, which became a massive issue between Kardashian and Priscilla.
Priscilla Reveals Reason She Never Remarried
In recent interviews, Priscilla Presley spoke out, claiming that the reason she had never remarried after her divorce from Elvis was simple. She believes that no other man would ever compare to Elvis.
Throughout the decades, The German beauty had plenty of male suitors. Even nearly five decades after Elvis Presley’s death, Priscilla Presley declares her undying love to the late singer. So much so that she has fought in court and won for the right to be buried at Graceland among her former husband, her late daughter Lisa Marie Presley, and her grandson Benjamin Keough.
Priscilla Presley claims, as far as she is concerned, that there will never be another man who will ever come close to living up to her former husband, the late great Elvis Presley. At least not to her.
