The late King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley’s former wife, Priscilla Presley, was on hand to greet thousands of fans who descended on Memphis, Tennessee, last week to pay tribute on the 45th anniversary of his death.
Priscilla Presley Shocks Fans During Elvis Week
However, fans could not help but notice that something appeared a little off with Priscilla. Fans reveal that during Elvis Week, they noticed some concerning details about Priscilla. Per Radar Online reports, Presley was exhibiting some bizarre behavior.
Radar reports on numerous occasions that the 77-year-old Priscilla Presley stumbled over her words and experienced multiple gaffes that left Presley fans revealing their concern over her well-being.
Eyewitnesses say that several times throughout the week, Priscilla was heard asking fans to wish Elvis a Happy Birthday, failing to recall that they were there to honor his memory on the 45th anniversary of his death.
One source states that Priscilla said it was Elvis’ 45 birthday. She then asked the fans to wish Elvis a Happy Birthday. They had that Priscilla referred to the anniversary of his death many times. The source also adds at more than one point, it appeared as if Priscilla was going to have the fans sing Happy Birthday.
Is Priscilla’s Confusion A Sign Of Untreated Medical Issues?
Another source states that everyone thought her behavior was bizarre, especially when she did not correct herself during the candlelight vigil. One fan reveals that they have attended the yearly memorial dozens of times, and this is the first time Priscilla has ever confused his death anniversary for his birthday.
Priscilla reportedly made many other mistakes that fans caught on to. During the TCB band introductions, she had forgotten drummer and Elvis’ close friend Ron Tutt passed away last year.
“During the big concert, she came on stage with Andy Childs and his band. Priscilla turns around and says, ‘I just want to say hello to Ronnie….wow they’re not out here yet. Are they? No! Glen D Hardin is here? And Jerry Scheff is here?'” the insider reveals.
“While Andy is shaking his head to confirm.” Sadly Priscilla Presley was clueless that they were not on stage. Many fans excused Priscilla’s memory issues. They acknowledge that the past couple of years has been very hard on the entire Presley family.
Presley Family Tragedy
The traditional Elvis Week memorial marked another sad day for the Presley family just a few weeks before. It is the second anniversary of Elvis and Priscilla’s daughter Lisa Marie Presley’s son Benjamin Storm Keough’s death.
Sadly, Benjamin Keough’s shocking and unexpected death at 27 devastated the entire Presley family, Especially his mother, Lisa Marie. Benjamin is buried in the Meditation Garden at Graceland mansion alongside his grandfather, Elvis Presley, great-grandmother, Gladys Presley, great-grandfather Vernon Presley, and great-great-grandmother, Minnie Mae Presley.
Many Elvis Presley fans state that while they remain concerned for the aging Priscilla Presley, they can also understand how all the sadness surrounding the event could lead to exhaustion and some confusion.
