R.Kelly son Jay has opened up publicly about coming out as a transgender teen on the social media website Ask.fm.

It was a brave and difficult thing for the singer R.Kelly son to do, but he came out proudly announcing to the world that he was a biologically born female, who wants to live his life as he feels he should be.

Jay Kelly is the transgender son of son of R.Kelly and ex-wife Drea Kelly who recently revealed his mom and siblings are very supportive of the decision, but there is a alleged issue with his father R.Kelly’s acceptance according to reports.that he has your full support, as he takes steps to become the person he was meant to be.

Jay reveals he came out to his mom, Drea last year sharing his thoughts and experience posting, shared her amazing reaction with his Ask.fm followers, writing,

“[My mom] was like, ‘Baby, you know I love you if you were bi, gay, [lesbian], you name it and I would still love you so much. She was very proud of me, I was like, ‘Thank you mom for accepting the fact that I’m a transgender.’”

Jay added, “And same with my sister, she told me that she was proud of me, and respects me by calling me handsome and calling me her little brother now, and I love her for that, so you know it was great for me.”

Now it is time for Jay’s father R. Kelly to step up and accept his child for who he is, and surround him with love, understanding acceptance and compassion.

Jay explained on Ask.fm that he and his sister are not close to their father, adding, “I absolutely love my mother… and yea my dad has not reached out.”

Jay reveals how he is dealing with his needs at this time and that his journey will be long and is only beginning. R. Kelly son Jay reveals he wears a binder around his breasts, and that he wants to undergo hormonal treatment to fully become a man once he turns 16 years old.

Maybe celebrity transgender Chaz Bono could reach out To R.Kelly son Jay and help him through the transition by sharing his story.

As for R. Kelly it is not known yet if he will step up or continue to turn his back at this time.
