Real Housewives of Orange County: Shannon Beador’s Friends Urge Her To Seek Help
Shannon Beador is potentially facing severe legal consequences following her September 17 arrest. The Bravo star was taken into custody on Saturday morning after allegedly driving her vehicle into a house and fled the scene.
TMZ adds that they were told that Shannon fled the scene. She continued driving before parking her case in the middle of the street and exiting with her dog. They also add that their sources claim the “Real Housewives of Orange County” star pretended to be walking her dog when officers arrived on the scene.
The reality star reportedly hit rock bottom and was arrested and taken to the nearby police station, where she was then booked for two misdemeanors … hit-and-run and DUI alcohol. She was cited and released without bond.
Two days later, the Daily Mail reports that Shannon Beador has decided to enter rehab following her arrest to seek help with alcohol issues. The unknown source says that after months of previously ignoring her friends’ pleas to get help, Shannon is finally ready to listen.
Bravo Star Faces Serious Wake-Up Call
“The Real Housewives of Orange County” alum’s friends claim that Shannon feels embarrassed and remorseful following her arrest. They say it was just the serious wake-up call that she needed.

In response to the records request asking for the image, the NBPD records manager cited a government code stating the image was exempt because it would “endanger the successful completion of the investigation or a related investigation.” They also add this is the same reason Beador’s co-star Gina Kirschenheiter’s mugshot for her 2019 DUI never became public.
The “Real Housewives of Orange County” star’s attorney, Michael L. Fell, released an official statement stating, “I spent quite a bit of time with Shannon Beador yesterday. She is extremely apologetic and remorseful. We will be awaiting the official information on this case as it becomes available.” He then adds “Shannon is prepared to accept full responsibility for her actions.”
Is Shannon Beador of Real Housewives of Orange County In Denial?
Some Bravo viewers believe that Shannon Beador remains in denial regarding her alcohol issues. According to the Beador source, the star has “not fully decided on if she will do in-patient treatment or out-patient. She says she has a family to care for, a dog who needs her, and her work projects.
They believe Shannon Beador may have only agreed to rehab to help with her impending court case. One commenter writes, “She says she has a family to care for, yet her youngest twin daughters are in college. And her work projects and dog are also just an excuse to flake on getting help. She just wants to look like she is to make a better impression on the judge.”
