Respawn Entertainment has recently come under fire for the number of overpowered weapons and characters in their popular battle royal game Apex Legends. Let’s start with the Prowler sub-machine gun. The Prowler is a burst weapon that deals 15 damage per bullet. It has recently been wreaking havoc upon the Apex community ever since it was moved out of the care package and onto the ground.
Even though the fully automatic mode has been removed from the gun it is still more popular than ever, especially in the Arenas mode. To solve this problem developers at Respawn Entertainment have reduced the damage per hit from 15 to 14 and they have increased the price for the gun in Arenas.
Now moving on to the L-Star. The L-Star is an energy-based weapon with minimum recoil, full-auto functions, and a very accurate hip-fire. The L-Star has been rumored to be getting more recoil and it is confirmed that the price for the gun in Arenas will be going up just like the Prowler. Another problem the Apex Legends community has been all riled up about is the new recon legend Seer.
Seer has been the highest-picked legend of the new season, and also the most overpowered. Seer’s abilities allow him to see enemies and their health through walls and floors for eight seconds. He can also stop any healing and revives when he hits a target with his tactical ability. “Even though Seer isn’t being tweaked today, he should get balanced next week. Gameplay software engineer Travis Nordin discussed the Ambush Artist in a Reddit AMA last week, per Dote Sports.
Apex patch to fix player complaints
Apex Legends season ten for the most part has gone very well, but just like any game, it has some problems. The key is how fast and how well Apex Legends developers solve these issues and how they make the community happy while also keeping the game challenging. It should be very interesting to see how these newest nerfs change the game and how people play it. But many fans can agree that these changes are very necessary so that the game remains fair and that the player with the most skill wins as it should be.
For now all we can do is wait and see how the community takes these nerfs in the coming days of Apex Legends season ten.
